This page explains what information CrewBase collects through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it. We've kept it short and in plain language.
Who we are
CrewBase is a small business based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Fareed, our founder, is responsible for privacy at CrewBase. You can reach him anytime at crewbasehq@gmail.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into the forms on this website:
- Your name and company name
- Your email address, and your phone number if you choose to give it
- Anything else you choose to share, like your crew size, how you'd like to meet, your current website or a message
This website doesn't use tracking cookies, ads or analytics. Our hosting provider may keep basic technical records, like IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running.
Why we collect it
We use your information to reply to you, set up a demo, send you a quote, or let you know when CrewBase Web launches if you asked us to. We won't add you to a mailing list or use your information for anything else without asking you first.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your information. We use a few trusted services to run this website:
- Formspree delivers form messages to us
- Vercel hosts this website
- Google handles our email
These services may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it to talk with you about our services. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
How we protect it
This website uses a secure connection, and only CrewBase can see the messages you send us. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we have about you, correct it or have it deleted. Just email crewbasehq@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Client portals
This policy covers this website only. Information inside a client's CrewBase portal, like crew hours and schedules, is handled under the agreement we have with that client.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
